On April 9, 2020, to provide students, parents and staff with clarity and certainty, Boise School District Trustees approved extending the current soft closure through May 22nd, 2020, the end of the 2019-2020 academic school year. Emergency remote Learning & Essential Services are currently being provided, as are Grab-and-Go Essential Meal Services for children who need nutritious meals while schools are closed. In addition, Boise School District is partnering with the Boys & Girls Club to provide emergency childcare amid the COVID-19 crisis.
